Description:
Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation of Kaphatenga - Dwangwa Road in Malawi The Roads Authority intends to prequalify contractors for Prequalification Reference No.: RA/DEV/SA-KK/2021-22/13, Rehabilitation Of Kaphatenga -Nkhotakota-Dwangwa Road (Benga-Nkhotakota and Nkhotakota-Dwangwa Sections). The works comprise the Rehabilitation / Reconstruction of Benga - Dwangwa (M005) Road covering a distance of 102.5km. The road shall be constructed in two sections and applicants may apply for one or two lots.: 2.1. Lot 1: Benga - Nkhotakota The Section starts from Benga at Chibothela Bridge and ends at Nkhotakota Boma, a distance of 47km. Works consist of reconstruction to bitumen standard with asphalt concrete surfacing on the carriageway on shoulders. The work will also involve construction of five (5) No new bridges and drainage structures. The proposed horizontal alignment generally follows the existing alignment geometry. 2.2. Lot 2: Nkhotakota - Dwangwa: The section starts from Nkhotakota Boma and ends at Dwangwa Trading Centre i.e., 1.5km after Dwangwa Bridge, a distance of 55.5 km. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the Roads Authority at the address below during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours Central African Time. A complete set of prequalification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of MWK30,000.00 or amount in specified convertible currency.
