Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation and Maintenance Works for Lweya Irrigation Scheme in Nkhatabay The Greenbelt Authority (Authority) was established by the Greenbelt Authority Act No 23 of 2017 to champion large scale commercial irrigation whose main purpose is to accelerate social economic transformation through increased agricultural productivity, agroprocessing and easy access to markets. 2. The Authority has budgeted public funds in the 2023/24 Fiscal Year for Rehabilitation and Maintenance Works in Nkhatabay and Mangochi districts, and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for this tender. Bidders must be Civil Engineering Contractors registered with National Construction Industry Council of Malawi (NCIC) in the K500 million Category. complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at a non-refundable fee of MWK25,000 at the address on 12(a) below. The fee must be deposited into: Greenbelt Initiative, CDH Bank, Account Number: 0050 4000 22202. Bidders must bring an authentic copy of stamped and signed bank deposit slip when collecting the bids. All bidders who purchased the document before the cancellation are required to produce an original GBA receipt to finance department before collecting the bid document.
