- Dear Bidder,The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.Below is a summary of the work to be performed:a) Professional Abridgement: Produce a concise yet comprehensive version of the original policy, retaining all critical information while eliminating redundancies and non-essential details.b) Translation of the Summary Policy Document: Translate the summarised policy document while ensuring standardisation of terminology based on the policy context and client specifications. The translation process will include quality checkpoints to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.c) Proofreading: Proofread the summarised and translated documents to ensure they align with the established guidelines from the standardisation stage.d) Editing: Edit the draft summarised and translated documents to ensure consolidation, accuracy, and proper formatting of the Final deliverables.e) Typesetting and Design: Organise the translated text and visual elements to ensure readability and a professional layout. The design will define the layout and visual style, incorporating visual elements such as icons, charts, or infographics. A printed draft will be reviewed to assess the Final appearance.f) Review of Draft Abridged Policies: Share the abridged policy documents with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs Poverty Reduction Division and Social Protection, as well as the ILO, for feedback and approval.
